Casa Amara: a Spanish clothing brand made in India

Casa Amara is a clothing brand founded in 2026 by Spanish students of TETR College of Business who moved to India, including co-founder Luis Saenz Pombo. It joins Mediterranean design with Indian craft. Its first collection, Drop 001 · Casa Amara Basics, is 100 numbered pleated trousers for men and women, made in India to order.

Key facts

Why Spain and India

The founders grew up with Mediterranean summers: linen, espadrilles, long dinners by the sea, clothes that look elegant without trying. In India they found makers who do extraordinary work by hand. The brand’s mark says it in one image: a sun setting over the Mediterranean and a full moon rising over India.

What makes it different

Everything is made to order, so nothing is left over and nothing goes on sale. Each pair has its own edition number from 001 to 100, chosen by the buyer. When the hundred are taken, the drop closes for good. The founders share how the brand is built, samples and mistakes included, on Instagram.
