Our story
A house that doesn’t die.
Casa is Spanish for house, home. Amara comes from the Sanskrit amara, a- (not) and mara (death): undying. To us it means making things well enough to last, and building a community bigger than the people who started it.
Between two horizons
Casa Amara was started by students of TETR College of Business who came from Spain to live and study in India. We grew up with Mediterranean summers: long dinners by the sea, linen, espadrilles, clothes that are elegant without trying. In India we found craft, colour and makers who do extraordinary work by hand.
Our mark says it in one line: the sun going down over the Mediterranean and a full moon coming up over India. Two horizons, stitched together in gold.
How we make things
We make little, and only to order. Drop 001 · Casa Amara Basics is one hundred numbered trousers for men and women, designed by us and made in India. Each pair has its own edition number, so no two are the same and nothing is left over.
We are building the brand in public, one drop at a time, and we share how it happens: the samples, the mistakes and the people who make it. Follow along, and when you are ready, choose your number.
